Ian did his first usability test in 1984 and has been learning ever since. A qualified psychologist (Chartered and Registered in the UK) Ian has worked in the area of what happens when people meet technology for over 30 years. Ian is passionate about UCD, user research, and service design.

Adrian has worked as a researcher, Service Designer and Digital Transformation Practitioner for many years. His experience encompasses many government departments, private and third sector organisations in the UK and overseas. Adrian brings a friendly, calm approach and strongly collaborative style. He is particularly talented at working with emerging projects and developing a strong co-creation, UCD and inclusive ethos.

Lucy has more than 10 years of experience designing and delivering user research across commercial, financial and public sector services. She brings a deep understanding of research methodologies and how to flex and adapt them to meet individual project needs. She can help your project team understand their users and their needs, engage your stakeholders and develop your team’s capacity.

Following 15 years in qualitative market research (12 of which running his own agency) Richard took the decision to transition his abilities into user research. Very much a people person, his user engagement expertise is born from an innate interest in the individual and a deep curiosity in what makes people tick. Highly collaborative, team player, friendly approach. 5+ years user research experience informing government projects with evidence based guidance.

Piret transitioned into the digital world after a career in acoustic engineering. With 4 years of experience in the higher education sector, she has consistently applied GDS methodologies to complex content-rich projects. Piret has extensive knowledge of the development and maintenance of design systems and has a passion for accessibility and inclusive design.
